ABOUT THE SEMINAR :

Private limited company is a form of business organization, which has gained importance over the years over sole proprietary concern and partnership. The popularity of a private limited company lies in the fact that it is a hybrid form combining advantages of both partnership and a limited company.

 

Although on incorporation a private limited company acquires the status of an incorporated body and has therefore the benefits of a limited liability incorporated company, nonetheless due to several benefits privileges and exemptions conferred on it by the Companies Act, 1956, it also enjoys several advantages of a partnership firm. A private limited company is also subject to rules and regulations under the aforesaid Act. Thus in order to comply with these provisions it becomes essential to acquire knowledge about the Companies Act and if required seek professional advice. The recent trend is takeovers of existing companies rather than establishing of new company. However, this involves a legal process.
