Where does firefox stores its files ? / accessing browser cache for firefox

Wanted to pull out a picture desperately from a website and heck it was a dynamic picture coming from PHP ( i understand zilch of php) and routine mesures like disabling right click , opening in menu less pop etc was done... Only way left was having a look at browser cache. IE was having too many temp files and on clearing them it was not storing newly accesed files immediatly in cache.

So turned my attention to firefox and installed the plugin downthemall which later found to less usefull as it could not pull out images , though it has faithfully helped me previously with other sites.

So here is the final solution:

navigate to about:cache?device=disk or about:cache?device=memory
